Day 1 (Pasticcio: Chapter 1)

-the party arrives in Ventide and gets rooms at the Dianella, an inn close to the opera house. They then go and meet Caramel, a friend of the Marquess who runs an antique store.

-During their visit, they purchase an amulet for Eska, some books for Synn and Cash, and find out a bit about Eustace's violin. Unfortunately, their visit is interrupted by a fire. The party is prevented from helping by the townsfolk, much to Eska's extreme displeasure and distress.

-The party starts to return to the inn, but notices some more shops on the way back and decide to investigate. Upon investigating, they discover that there seems to be a similar magic to the Trident afoot.

-The party returns to the inn (and the innmaster Synndil,) having dinner and meeting the healer Ophir, who has been tending to the injured from the fires, who reports that their wounds don't seem to heal (the pain is just too real, there's just too much that time cannot erase.)

-They also meet Captain Willagee, the head of the Imperial Guard in Ventide, who asks them to assist with the investigation into the fires in Ventide. He invites them to visit the Imperial Guard tomorrow morning to meet the head investigator and get debriefed.
